Directions

The Underground is located in the Fishtown / Kensington area of Philadelphia, near the Girard Ave. exit of I-95. This is the first exit north of the intersection of I-95 and I-676 (the Vine Street expressway)


From I-95 Northbound (that's coming from the south and heading towards the north):

  • Take the Girard Ave. / Lehigh Ave. exit
  • Stay in the left lane, following the signs for Aramingo Ave.
  • You will pass back under I-95.
  • Turn left at the next light onto York St. (The Port Richmond Plaza will be on your right.)
  • Continue approx. 1/2 mile to Sepviva St.
  • Turn left onto Sepviva St.
  • At the first stop sign turn left onto E. Dauphin St.
  • The Underground is one-half block down on your left.

From I-95 Southbound (that's coming from the north and heading toward the south):

  • Take the Girard Avenue exit
  • Stay in the right lane at the bottom of the ramp.
  • Turn right at the second intersection (Berks St). This is after you pass Dunkin Donuts on the right.
  • Continue straight approx. 1/2 mile, until you reach Tulip St.
  • Turn right on Tulip St.
  • Go approx. 3 blocks until you see a park on your left.

  • The Underground is a half block down Dauphin St to the left. note: You cannot turn left onto Dauphin.
